Dates You Need To know
It’s the time of year to start preparing to register for classes for the Spring 2023 semester. In order to do so, you must speak with your advisor. Your advisor is the only person who can help you prepare for registration and if you do not know who your advisor is, find out as soon as possible.
There are separate designated days to register for classes depending on your class. For freshmen and sophomores, your registration for classes began on Oct. 28, and for juniors and seniors, it’s Oct. 26.
The deadline to fully register is Jan. 17, 2023, but advisors suggest you register on time in case a class you would like to take gets filled up. If needed, your advisor can help you decide exactly what classes you need to take and when.
If you have a class that you don’t like or aren’t interested in, there’s still time to withdraw from it without getting a “WF” on your transcript but it will still be marked as a “W” .
Also for those who now started their half-semester classes, if you don’t like it then you can withdrawal from it. The deadline for this is Oct. 31 and after that date, it will show as a WF on your transcript if you decide to withdraw after the 31st.
