Analysis: Post Super Bowl poll reveals student alignments

A poll posted on USC Aiken’s student life Facebook page by A&E Editor Eric Sanders revealed that many students supported the LA Rams for the Super Bowl.

Though only 27 students voted in this particular poll, the majority leaned toward the Rams. However, the lack of interest in this year’s game may have been a national issue.

According to Washington Post, Sunday’s game was both “the lowest scoring game in Super Bowl history” and had “some of the lowest audience numbers” in the last 10 years. In total numbers, it still makes the top 12 list of most-watched Super Bowl games, but with an average watch time of six minutes, it is possible that the poorly-played game alienated many viewers.

Let us know in the comments on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter what you thought of this Sunday’s game.
