Weekly Briefing: Take a bite out of this week's issue

Weekly Briefing: Take a bite out of this week's issue

We’re just a few weeks away from Halloween, Pacers. This issue of Pacer Times includes articles related to the upcoming holiday, but look out for our special Halloween issue next week for even more spooky content.

Arts and Entertainment Editor Emma Watts covered several events this week, including the “Queering Race and Crime” seminar by the Diversity Initiatives and Dr. Melencia Johnson and the screening of the first episode of Netflix special “When They See Us.”

She wrote about the Aiken Civic Ballet’s performance of “Dracula” last Friday at the Etherredge Center, while I wrote a review of the production.

Lifestyle Editor Brianna Richbourg created a spooky Halloween playlist, compiled a list of classic Halloween movies and wrote some interesting Horoscopes for this week. She also interviewed the president of C.U.R.L.S. about what the organization is doing this semester.

Check out this calendar for a list of Halloween-related events that are happening this week and next.

That’s all for now, Pacers. Have a spooktacular Tuesday and we will see you this time next week for our Halloween issue.
