It’s All A Blur Concert Recap
As summer has officially come to an end, I got to see my favorite rapper in concert.
The Canadian rapper, Drake, released a collaborative album with Atlanta-based rapper, 21 Savage, in 2022 called “Her Loss”. The two have been on tour together since July 5, 2023, and plan to end Oct. 9, 2023.
The concert is estimated to be 2 hours and 30 minutes with a special guest opener at the beginning, such as Sexyy Red and Central Cee, depending on where you’re attending.
I went to the Charlotte, NC concert at the Spectrum Center on Sept. 23.
The two artists performed at separate times showing off their fan favorite songs. In the beginning, Drake comes out with a younger look-alike beside him while performing “Look What You’ve Done” from his famous “Take Care” album. After Drake’s performance, 21 Savage came out singing melodies of his famous songs and features such as “Red Opps”, “Peaches and Eggplants” and “Bank Account”.
To close out the show, Drake and 21 Savage performed some of their fan’s favorites from their collaborative album like “Spin Bout You On BS” and “Rich Flex”. Throughout the show, they used a lot of special effects such as flames and visual graphics. Overall, the production designers of the tour did an excellent job using props and inflatables that related to Drake’s songs in a storytelling way.
If you are a Drake or 21 Savage fan, I’d highly recommend attending one of their shows before the tour ends!
