Think Pink Week
This past week Zeta Tau Alpha hosted events and raised money for their philanthropy, breast cancer.
Each day they had a table from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and night events that started at 6 p.m. While hosting these fun activities that helped educate the community on breast cancer, they collected donations for breast cancer research.
Monday’s table was “Throw Out Cancer”, where people paid to throw a football to get points for their team. The night event was a pumpkin decorating contest, which had to have the famous pink ribbon on it.
Tuesday’s table was the “Cancer Sucks” Lollipop Game with their night event was their Mr. Think Pink pageant. This allowed the IFC fraternities to compete and have fun.
Wednesday was their most popular table, “Stuff the Cup”. A person would be blindfolded and have to fill a bra with cotton balls for a short period of time. They also had a bra decorating contest, which was a fan favorite.
On Thursday, they had a lemonade stand during the day and a volleyball tournament at night. To show support, the other two CPC sororities, AOII and Phi Mu teamed up together to play against the IFC fraternities.
“It was fun playing alongside Phi Mu and supporting Zeta for their philanthropy week,” -Mackenzie Taylor, president of AOII.
Friday, they hosted a coin drive for their day event and volunteered at the pink-out volleyball game. Zeta posted a TikTok with them all wearing pink heart sunglasses and having fun at the event.
