ZTA: Breast Cancer Awareness

October just started and that marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year in the United States, about 264,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and about 2,400 in men. 

Zeta Tau Alpha(ZTA) has exclusive awareness/involvement events for Breast Cancer Awareness. The events last all week and it’s called “Think Pink Week”. “Think Pink Week raises money for breast cancer education and awareness. 

This upcoming week will be having various day and nighttime events to help raise money. Today, October 3, ZTA is having a “Throw” out cancer event for $1 a throw and $2 for three throws. Then at night time, ZTA will have a “Scare away cancer event which will feature pumpkin decorating and trick or treat at the QUAD.
