Dorm Decor: Three affordable styles

Living on campus means starting with a blank slate. Coming to college, you are provided with a bed, window, a couple of pieces of furniture, and possibly a roommate you may or may not know anything about. 

Living at home you have the freedom to decorate any way you want to and usually have a larger space to do so. What happens when you cut a room in half? How do you make a space feel like yours with a stranger sleeping six feet beside you? 

It is all about finding what you like and deciding on a budget that works for you. There are several design types out there and a couple that work best for dorm rooms: boho, minimalism and retro.
