Latin heritage committee to host Cardi B listening event

The Office of Student Life Diversity Initiatives and the Latin Heritage Month Committee are hosting an ICE event called “Party with Cardi” on September 26th in the Sac Mezz from 4-5 p.m.

Attendees will listen to songs by famous female rapper Cardi B. Professor Adrianne Banko will help students break down the music to look at the different groups of race, gender, and ethnicity in Cardi’s lyrics.

Noelia Diaz, a member of the Latin Heritage Committee, said, “Everybody should come to party with Cardi. It’s going to be a fun, exciting activity where you will learn more about everyone. You’re going to have a blast.”
