Intramural Information

Intramural flag football season has begun. Intramural Sports are designed to be played by students who enjoy the comradery and athleticism of sports but do not play on official university teams. 

The USC Aiken website states, “Intramurals are an opportunity for wholesome sport competition that promote physical, social, and emotional benefits as well as a sense of community and sportsmanship.” Intramural Sports provides league play and tournaments for Men’s, Women’s, and Co-Rec’s divisions.

Participants should be aware of the following disclaimer for intramural sports: “All Intramural Sport participants should read and review the Participant Handbook prior to their participation. While we will strive to help our participants to remain and become aware of our policies and procedures on a nightly basis, simply not knowing a rule or policy will not be an acceptable excuse from any participant.”
