Thanksgiving Outfit Essentials

Thanksgiving is only a few days away and if you’re the type to plan last minute then you’re in the right spot.

Although we’re going to be in the house and living room for Thanksgiving, I still believe we should put on a decent-looking outfit for the holiday. Now depending on your family whether they're the type to dress like they’re going to the Met Gala or more of a chill casual type of vibe, I’m here to give you guys a few ideas of what to wear.

1.Sweater Dress

This is for anyone who wants to look put together, but still on the more relaxed side. You can add many accessories such as necklaces and bracelets to compliment the outfit. Shoes-wise, depending on your vibe, you could wear ankle booties, flats or even heels to make it classier.

2. Cardigan

Since it is fall season, this next piece would be perfect for Thanksgiving. You can never go wrong with a cardigan whether it’s a short or long one. Typically, I’d add a plain top under the cardigan, and you can choose from multiple colors or do more fall colors such as brown, olive green or even tans. For bottoms, it’s really up to you! You could wear a skirt, skinny or baggy jeans. Lastly, shoes can be comfortable sneakers, flats or UGG boots.

3. Flannel

It’s time to go to your local thrift store and find a flannel that matches the fall season! A flannel is a unisex attire that comes in multiple styles and colors. Although plaid was out a few years ago it’s back! You can pair a flannel with a simple top under to compliment the flannel. Bottoms can be skinny or baggy jeans depending on what you prefer. Normally shoes are on the comfortable side such as Converse, Vans or New Balances.

These are just a few of the top ideas that scream fall and Thanksgiving. Other favorites include plaid skirts, flare pants or even midi dresses.
