Event Announcement: LGBTQ+ History Month Flag/Button Making Event

October is not only Halloween season but LGBT history month as well. LGBT History Month is a remembrance and celebration of the history of LGBT rights and the LGBT community in general. This October, join the Office of Institutional Culture and Belonging as they celebrate LGBT History Month with their “LGBTQ+ History Month Flag/Button Making Event.”

This event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31st, 2023 from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm in B&E 136. The event will include an opportunity for attendees to create flags and buttons representing LGBT identities and pride. Also, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about LGBT History Month.

Regardless of your sexual and gender identity, this event will be an excellent opportunity to learn about gender and sexual minority groups and to show your pride and/or allyship by celebrating LGBT History Month with DIY pride merch.
