Pacers and Polo event celebrates its 17th anniversary on April 2

Next Saturday, April 2 will mark the 17th anniversary of the Pacers and Polo event here in Aiken. Pacers and Polo is an annual polo match held at Powderhouse Polo Field as one of Aiken’s last triple crown events and serves as a fundraiser to help raise money for athletic scholarships at USCA. 

General Admission Tickets may be purchased by calling the USC Aiken Athletic Department at 803-641-3486 or 803-641-3331. Adult tickets are $8, while tickets for children six and older are $5. VIP tickets are also available for $90 (after March 23). Tickets can be purchased at the USC Aiken Athletic Department in the Convocation Center. 

Pacers and Polo will also feature its annual silent auction, and donations of items such as gift certificates ($25 or more), local arts and crafts, horse and Pacer-themed decorum, services such as oil changes, spa treatments and all sorts of other items. Gates open at 10:30 a.m. followed by a silent auction from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lunch will begin being served at 11:30 a.m. for those who purchase the $90 ticket, and the match starts at 1:00 p.m. All proceeds from the event go to providing athletic Pacers with scholarship opportunities!
