New to the staff, reporter Greer Godsey set the stage of the Oswald Distinguished Writer’s Series that began last Thursday. Dr. Varallo shared a flash fiction titled “My Enemy” before reading the book that earned him this distinction, “The Lines,” which is currently available for purchase at the campus bookstore.

Memorial services held for John Wade "Coach" Abshire

Album Review: WHO CARES?
Arts and Entertainment section editor Alex Molina describes Rex Orange County’s somewhat disappointing new album, “WHO CARES?” I have listened to a few of Rex Orange County’s songs, but the incessant repetition Molina notes is exactly what draws me away. Tyler, the Creator, however, is my favorite and his feature “OPEN A WINDOW” captured my heart.

Pacers finish fourth in Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate
Arts and Entertainment section editor Alex Molina covered the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate held at the beautiful Palmetto Golf Club last week in Aiken. The Pacer golf team faced off against 13 other schools, but the University of South Carolina Columbia secured the win.

USC Aiken’s League of Legends team continues their nearly flawless season
Reporter Taylor Herndon found that the eSports League of Legends (MOBA) team fell against the undefeated Converse University last week but redeemed themselves by crushing the University of North Georgia. Games are livestreamed on Twitch and can be watched at any time. As always, go Pacers!
