Return of Bleach

Bleach focuses on a teenage boy named Ichigo Kurosaki who inherits his parents' destiny when he acquires the powers of a Soul Reaper like the Grim Reaper after inheriting the powers of another Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki.

However, the show was not finished and was left incomplete.  After many years later, Bleach has returned.

The release date of Bleach Season 17 was confirmed by VIZ Media on September 11, 2022. Episode 366 of Bleach Season 16 ended the original Bleach anime, which ran from October 2004 to March 2012. Bleach's new season will likely be called Bleach Season 17 and kick off with Bleach Episode 367. No episode count has been announced for Bleach 2022. As a result, the Bleach 2022 anime is based on four cours, rather than the hundreds of chapters in the manga.

In anime, a "cour" is a three-month TV broadcasting unit based on the physical seasons. Each cour typically has 10 to 13 episodes.
