What’s The Peer Body Project
The Peer Body Project has been offered to female students for the past few years.
This is an opportunity for women to talk about their bodies while being given a safe space. It’s advertised to discuss “Body Positivity, Empowerment, Combating Societal Beauty Standards”. The last session took place on Oct. 5.
The purpose of these sessions is not only to provide a safe space for women but to give them the chance to connect with others. In every session, there’s some form of activity and homework is provided in order to keep track of progress.
These activities range from letters to someone in your life to wearing something out of your comfort zone. An honorable mention would be that there’s no force throughout the process.
