Aiken County Sheriff Press Release: Suspicious death investigation
Aiken, SC (4 February 2020, 11:50 am) - Aiken County Sheriff’s Office along with the Aiken County Coroner’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a person found deceased this morning in a vehicle. Around 7:58 am, deputies responded to Gunter Road near Talatha Church Road where the victim (a black male) was found deceased, seated in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with an apparent head wound. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office. This case is being considered a homicide.
